Conference with the visitator

The session was held at the conference center on the 6th March, 2023. The Visitator appreciated the Provincial Council, Superior Districts and all confreres for the warm welcome, well organized trips, care and love given to him during his visit in the province. He presented in a power point the visits of different SVD communities and collaborators, e.g, bishops of the different dioceses. He presented sharings from the confreres, people and collaborators not personal issues. Our engagements in the mission have touched the lives of the local people and help to establish the vibrant faith communities. The people and the bishops are grateful of the commitments of the SVD confreres to work with them. It is important to continue the good participation and collaboration with the people and the bishops of the diocese where we help the local church to grow.

He encouraged all members to value personal prayers- have time for personal prayers. Generally, confreres are happy, appreciate each other and help people however there still a need for improvement in dialogue. We should explore new initiatives to proclaim God’s Word and promote vocations in the province. He appreciated the simple life of confreres, and working together  as a team to foster the communitarian character of our society. Bible sharing and meetings are paramount importance to us as religious. We continue to sustain the intercultural fabric of our society, and good solidarity with each other.
